“Do Something that Matters” - Creative Storytelling
An educational and inspirational talk on taking every opportunity to be creative.
Randy Alvarado is a photographer, author and entrepreneur.
After twenty plus years of executive management experience running 6 high-tech companies, Randy decided to pursue a new career following his passion and to do something that mattered.
As a documentary photographer, he now focuses on capturing the work of non-profit organizations and NGOs both locally and around the globe.
He has traveled to 23 countries on five continents to experience and capture the visual stories.
Randy's work inspires on a deeper level, freshly engaging the viewer with his subject while simultaneously connecting to the heart of the organization, bringing its mission into razor sharp focus.
He is author of the book, “Nicaragua: One week with Manos Juntas” a photographic essay documenting a week-long medical mission trip in November 2007 with the non-profit organization Manos Juntas.
